Noelani Beard

October 17, 2022

Noelani, Noe, Beard is from the island of Oʻahu in the most beautiful state in the nation, Hawaiʻi (this may be biased ;). She started competing in volleyball when she was a freshman in high school and instantly fell in love with the game. After high school Noe spent her first two years of her undergraduate career at a junior college in southern Oregon in a first year volleyball program where she helped lead the team in back-to-back region championships.

She has now ventured to the second most beautiful state to finish her academic and volleyball career for JP at Shaw University. In the 2021 season, Noe was recognized as a CIAA First-Team All-Conference player, she’s hoping to repeat the feat in 2022 and add CIAA Conference Champion to that resume.

Outside of volleyball she enjoys being outdoors and getting involved in the community. When Noe is home in Hawai’i she enjoys going to the beach and eating the best food in the world.

Noelani’s goal this year at CAV, is to assist Jailynn in teaching the girls how to compete at a high level in the sport we all love. Noe had this to say about being a first-year coach at Advantage, “I am thankful for this opportunity to help the younger generation become better volleyball players, students, and people overall. Go Advantage.”
